Kara Nordstrom, a native of Illinois, has about 25 years of experience as a graphic designer. 

 

After graduating from National Technical Institution for the Deaf/Rochester Institution Technology in 1998, she began working for the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperative in Springfield, Illinois. In November of 2005, she moved to Austin, Texas, and began her employment with Community Impact Newspaper, where she has worked for 15 years. 

 

As a child, Kara loved to color and would draw for hours and since then, her life has been inspired by colors and strong visuals. 

 

Kara and her wonderful husband, Chris, have two beautiful daughters, both of whom love to draw, just like their mother.

 

Kara is tenacious, hard-working, responsible and friendly. She is deadline oriented and enjoys working with a team. She is always looking for new adventures in her life.
